Make a six-arm guide
Draw three straight lines crossing at the same center, evenly spaced. This creates six arms. Light pencil marks make it easier to adjust the spacing.
Repeat one branching pattern
Add a pair of short diagonal branches at the same distance along each arm. Repeat nearer the tips with smaller branches. Consistent placement creates the symmetry.
Choose what to emphasize
Trace the final lines and erase the guides. You can vary the branch lengths, add small diamonds or leave the tips plain. Start a second version from the same six-arm structure to explore a different pattern.
